Dwarf Wolf River Apple Tree

Famous for its frequently huge size (one apple makes a pie), the Wolf River apple is used for cooking, fresh-eating and for drying. Its firm, juicy flesh is slightly aromatic with a distinctive mild, subacid flavor. A northern variety with good resistance to disease and pests. This variety is considered dwarf to semi-dwarf, so it makes an excellent choice for the backyard gardener.
