Fruit Trees

Whether you’re interested in planting a full orchard or simply want to add a container tree to your patio, Bob Wells Nursery has what you need. Choose from over 500 varieties of fruit trees suitable for growing in most any location across the U.S. Fruit Trees can be planted any season of the year, unless the ground is frozen. Spring and Fall are the best times to plant. Most of our trees will fruit within 1-2 seasons after planting.

Nut Trees

If you’re planning a vineyard or simply want to create a shady sitting area under an arbor and enjoy fresh fruit right off the vine, we offer over 80 cultivars of Grapes, Kiwis, and Muscadines to choose from.

Did you know you can grow sweet and tangy fruit such as Oranges and Lemons from your own citrus trees? Even if you live in cooler climates, you can grow your own citrus trees by planting them in containers and moving them indoors for protection during the cold winter months. They can be great options for small-space fruit gardens such as sunny balconies, porches and patios.

Start your own vegetable garden today with our seasonal selection of vegetables. Our online offerings include Asparagus, Horseradish and Rhubarb. Our in-store location offers many varieties of  fresh vegetable starts that are ready to grow. All you have to do is plant, cultivate them and then harvest and enjoy!  (Texas residents, ask about our local seed exchange and gardening classes!)

If you’ve been looking for Elderberry, Gooseberry, Huckleberry, or Thornless Blackberries, we have them! We also have many varieties of Raspberries, Strawberries, and Blueberries. These berries are perfect for a range of spaces, whether you are wanting to start a berry patch, or are just plant a few in a corner of your garden. The fruit you will harvest is delicious and can be eaten fresh, frozen, canned, or baked into treats like pies, cobblers, jams, jellies and more! And if that isn’t enough, they’re healthy! Many berries are a rich sources of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. 

 

Tropicals

Imagine being able to come home to perfectly ripened Avocados, Mangos or Guava from your own trees instead of buying those expensive fruits at the store. At Bob Wells Nursery, we offer unique tropicals like Miracle Fruit, Sugar Apple and Dragon Fruit. If you don’t live in a tropical climate, you can still grow them in containers and bring them indoors or a small greenhouse to protect them from the harsh winter months.
