Fruit Trees

View our Full Plant Inventory. At Bob Wells Nursery we have Apples, Apricots, Cherries, Figs, Pears, Plums, Peaches and many others! We carry a wide selection suitable for growing in most any location across the US. Fruit Trees can be planted any season of the year, unless the ground is frozen. Spring and Fall are the best times to plant. Most of our trees will fruit within 1-2 seasons after planting.  Most of our fruit trees are grown on semi-dwarf root stock, and some may require another variety in order to produce fruit via cross-pollination. 

Nut Trees

Nut trees produce delicious and healthy snacks, and they provide more diversity in your landscape. We offer a large selection of nut trees including Almonds, Chestnuts, Hazelnuts, Hickory, Pecans and more. Once mature, each tree bears loads of nuts that offer many heath benefits, and add flavor, nutrition and texture to nearly anything you add them to. These nuts of a great source of natural protein, and antioxidants. Evidence also shows that many of them enhance arteries and cholesterol levels when consumed moderately.


Shade Trees

Shade trees bring beauty to your landscape, we have some that are shorter, but a lot that grow to be quite tall, which makes a dramatic addition to larger space. Shade trees can also provide other benefits, they can create cooling areas in the heat during summer, and can provide a windblock during the cold winter. This protection against the outside elements help with your electric bill! Shade trees are a natural and eco-friendly way to save energy.

Our Specialty tree collection consists of many different tree types and mixes. We have Olives, Pomegranates, Avocados, and many more! We also have special multi-grafted trees, and crosses such as Peacotum (Peach & Apricot Cross), and Plumcot (Plum & Apricot Cross)

At Bob Wells Nursery we offer many cultivars of Grapes, Kiwis, and Muscadines. Enjoy fresh fruit right off the vine.

Our vegetable plants very productive, giving you large harvests that you can enjoy in a few ways such as eating fresh, pickling, canning.

If you live in warmer regions you can grow them in the ground, but if you live farther north don’t worry! You can still grow them in containers and bring them indoors to protect them from the harsh winter months.
