Avocado flowers have both male and female parts, so even just one tree will provide you with fruit. But to achieve maximum fruit yield on your trees, plant a Type A near a Type B. Type A female flowers are receptive to pollen in the morning. Type B flowers are receptive to pollen in the afternoon.
