Common buttonbush is a deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub native to wetlands. It features glossy green foliage and is especially admired for its fragrant, white, pincushion-like flower spheres, about one inch in diameter. Blooming from June through September, these flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and birds.
