While smaller than other jujube fruit, Honey Jar makes up for it in sweetness, crunch, juiciness and thinness of skin. The round-shaped (sometimes elongated) Honey Jar fruit is excellent for fresh eating or dehydrating and is the juiciest jujube variety. Honey Jar is one of the earliest jujubes to ripen as the fruit can be eaten when it’s yellowish-green.
