$59.95

This deciduous flowering tree has a fast growth rate. It boasts an upright, broad, weeping, and cascading form. In early spring, it dazzles with clusters of pink flowers. The foliage transitions through the seasons, starting as dark purple in spring, shifting to green tinted with purple in summer, and finally turning bright yellow in fall. This tree thrives in full sun or partial shade, with average water needs that decrease once established. It prefers well-draining soil types such as clay, loam, sandy, and silt, with a slightly acidic to slightly alkaline pH of 6.5-8.0. It is resistant to deer, disease, heat, insects, and moderate drought, it attracts beneficial pollinators and visual attention alike.
