Sweet Bay Magnolia Tree

$39.95

The sweet bay magnolia is a graceful, slender, flowering, deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub or tree, depending on how you prune it. The leaves are shiny and dark green, the undersides are silvery. The creamy white flowers are fragrant, measuring a little smaller than the southern magnolia blossoms.  It is native to the coastal areas of the southeastern United States up to New York. A full sun to part shade lover, this plant is best grown in medium to wet, slightly acidic, rich soil.
